Flag has no weight requirements and is for children ages 5-7
You'll notice the ages of each division overlap considerably and that a child may not be eligible to play at all if he is very large or very small for his age. Because tackle football is a contact sport, we us an age/weight chart to determine which division a child will be assigned to. This same chart is used across the Federation. These minimum and maximum weights are there for the safety of all player. There are NO exceptions to the weight and age categories posted on the chart. Your child must play in the appropriate division.
